Warning Issued for Millions: Don't Drink Coffee, Alcohol
The dangers of alcohol consumption are well-known as this point – perhaps that's why a record low of 54% of adults consumed alcoholic beverages in 2025. Gen Z created a shift in the market, but there are still millions who enjoy the occasional cocktail every now and then.
As for coffee, it tells a different story. Two-thirds of American adults drink coffee each day (66%)—higher than past-day consumption of tea, juice, soda, and bottled water and up nearly 7% compared to 2020, according to the National Coffee Association.
