A PE teacher has been banned from teaching after writing ‘deploy the navy’ in response to a social media post about ‘illegal migrant invaders’.

Samuel Everett, who taught at Haughton Academy in Darlington, Co Durham, made a string of ‘offensive’ comments on X between December 2023 and February 2024.

This included the remarks ‘just get rid of the lot of them, if they hate this country so much they should f*** off’...
