Monetise DD, AIR assets in time-bound manner: Parliamentary Panel

A parliamentary panel has directed Doordarshan and All India Radio to generate revenue from their assets. This will be achieved through leasing, redevelopment, and public-private partnerships. The panel seeks regular updates on progress and revenue generation. Prasar Bharati has a draft plan to unlock value from surplus assets. This includes leasing vacant space and redeveloping land parcels.
