Trump after NATO rejects support: “We are the greatest country — we don’t need the help of anyone”

United States President Donald Trump said the US does not need support from its allies after several NATO countries indicated they would not take part in a military operation targeting Iran.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Trump said most NATO allies had informed Washington they did not want to get involved in the operation, despite agreeing with the broader objective of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
