Ranchi restaurant worker shot dead over extortion; 4 held

Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the murder of a restaurant employee in Ranchi. The victim was shot dead on March 7 following an extortion demand. The accused were apprehended after a brief gunfight in Dhanbad. They confessed to attacking the employee after the restaurant owner refused to pay money. The investigation is ongoing.
