Man arrested for drink driving after hitting parked cars

A 56-year-old was arrested on Tuesday night after hitting four parked cars and damaging a fifth while drink driving.

The police said the incident happened at 10pm in Limassol.

The man hit one parked car and drove on, subsequently hitting another three. The fourth car was pushed forward and hit the one in front, before the man’s vehicle was brought to a halt.

The crash caused material damage. No injuries were reported.

A breathalyser test indicated 112μg instead of the 22μg limit.
