Auburn takes control in 2nd half to beat South Alabama in NIT
Keyshawn Hall posted 21 points and six rebounds, Kevin Overton scored all of his 21 on seven second-half 3-pointers, and top-seeded Auburn rallied to down South Alabama 78-67 in the first round of NIT play on Tuesday night in Auburn, Ala.
The Tigers (18-16) awakened from a poor 20 minutes and a 36-30 deficit to go 24 of 61 shooting (39.3%) overall and made 16 of their season-high 44 attempts (36.4%) from long range.
Kaden Magwood, who last played on Jan. 6, notched a career-high 14 points.
