School events should not burden parents : PM

Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya says school events should be organized in a manner that does not place a financial burden on parents. 

Addressing a meeting with teachers and principals, PM Amarasuriya said that by 2026, arrangements will be made to provide smart boards and internet facilities to every school, adding that money should not be collected from parents for this purpose.
