Fabrizio Romano Tottenham manager update: ‘De Zerbi was a top target for Spurs’

Fabrizio Romano has now provided another interesting update about Tottenham’s pursuit of Roberto De Zerbi and the Italian coach’s current stance.

De Zerbi left Marseille last month, around the same time that Thomas Frank departed Tottenham, although the two coaches left their clubs in very different circumstances.

The former Brighton boss’s stock remains high, not only because of his work at Marseille, but because of the impressive team he built at the Amex Stadium.
