Police raid road department office in Takata airbag investigation

Members of the police special investigation team carried out a search at the road transport department’s offices on Tuesday to collect files and evidence related to the Takata airbags that failed to save Kyriakos Oxinos, and Styliani Gioryallis in respective car accidents.

Speaking to Alpha TV, deputy police spokesperson, Christodoulos Konsolos, described the case as “very serious and multidimensional” and said a careful and comprehensive investigation is required.
