New case of foot and mouth disease found in Larnaca’s Dromolaxia

A fresh case of foot and mouth disease was detected in the Larnaca district village of Dromolaxia on Tuesday afternoon.

The case was found on a farm which houses 110 sheep and goats. All will now be culled.

It brings the total number of incidences of the disease detected in Cyprus to 42, with this number in such cases referring to the number of farms on which the disease has been detected.
