Caroline revives Mi Amigo sound live this weekend

One last offshore reunion will put Radio Caroline’s late 1970s sound back on the air this weekend.

Radio Caroline is handing control of Ross Revenge to presenters and crew linked to Mi Amigo for a three day live broadcast from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March.

The station says the programmes will recreate the style of its album based output from 1976 to early 1980, before Mi Amigo was lost in a storm.

The broadcast will come from Ross Revenge on the Blackwater Estuary, with listening available on 648 AM, 1368 AM and online.
