BMC issues toll-free number to report coconut waste

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has launched a toll-free number to address the growing issue of discarded coconut waste. This initiative aims to ensure prompt collection and processing of used coconuts, preventing environmental and public health risks. The collected waste is converted into coir, rope, and pots at a dedicated processing unit.
