HC upholds SECI's reallocation of solar capacity to Adani Co

The Delhi High Court has backed Solar Energy Corporation of India's 2023 move. This decision reallocated 2.33 gigawatts of solar power capacity from Azure Power India to Adani Green Energy. A public interest litigation challenging this reallocation was dismissed. The court found no evidence of loss to the public exchequer. The reallocation involved a reduction in the power purchase price.
