Longhorns earn top seed in Fort Worth region for women's March Madness

The Longhorns will open the tournament in Austin, hosting the first and second rounds March 20-23 at Moody Center. With the No. 1 seed in the Fort Worth 3 region and No. 3 overall, Texas will face a play-in opponent, either Missouri State or Stephen F. Austin, on March 20. The Bears and Lumberjacks will play at Moody Center on Wednesday to decide who gets that official No. 16 seed.
