The fire brigade responded to 38 calls across Cyprus over the past 24 hours as strong winds and heavy rain caused multiple incidents, while police urged drivers to exercise caution on the roads.
In a post on X, fire brigade spokesman Andreas Kettis said crews in Nicosia responded to four incidents involving the removal of trees that had fallen due to strong winds.
Fire stations in Limassol handled nine calls in Limassol, Ayios Tychonas and Dora.
