Showers and strong winds expected, dust to arrive midweek

On Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms expected.

Hail may fall during thunderstorms, while snow or sleet is possible on the highest peaks of Troodos.

Conditions are expected to gradually improve from the afternoon.

Temperatures will rise to about 17C inland, around 20C along the coast and about 9C in the higher mountains.

Tonight, periods of increased cloud are expected and may bring isolated showers in the west.
