Curfew relaxed in Meghalaya's Garo Hills for church services

On Sunday, residents of Meghalaya's Garo Hills will benefit from a temporary 12-hour curfew relaxation, enabling them to attend church services. This decision follows a tumultuous period marked by violence during protests related to the GHADC elections, which resulted in significant casualties and property damage. The Chief Minister has taken action by deferring the elections to ensure public safety.
