Taiwan says large-scale Chinese military flights return after unusual absence

Chinese air force activity around Taiwan has resumed after a two-week pause. Taiwan detected 26 Chinese military aircraft in the Taiwan Strait. This comes after a period of no reported aircraft from February 27 to March 7. Beijing has not explained the absence. Taiwan's government rejects China's sovereignty claims.
