Kabul Claims 14 Pakistani Soldiers Killed in Border Attacks
The Taliban’s Defense Ministry claims its forces killed 14 Pakistani soldiers during cross-border attacks following recent Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan.
In a statement released Saturday, the ministry said the attacks targeted Pakistani border positions near Afghanistan’s Kunar and Nangarhar provinces, areas that have recently witnessed heightened tensions.
According to Taliban officials, 11 Pakistani soldiers were also wounded during the clashes and one Pakistani military outpost was captured during the operation.
