Tamil Nadu govt announces Rs 2 per unit power subsidy to eateries switching to induction stoves

Tamil Nadu is offering a Rs 2 per unit electricity subsidy for hotels and restaurants shifting to electric stoves. This move addresses the commercial LPG cylinder shortage impacting businesses. The state is also easing fuel regulations for factories and supporting farmers. Additional kerosene is being provided to ration cardholders.
