Idaho Ski Area Closing Three Weeks Earlier Than Normal

Idaho's Pebble Creek Ski Area has officially ended its 2025/26 ski season.

Pebble Creek closed for the winter on March 12, 2026, which was "about three weeks earlier than typical," according to a social media post from the resort.

Despite the earlier-than-expected closure, Pebble Creek celebrated the milestones it did reach this year. The mountain remained open for 49 days this season and served its Idaho community well, employing 122 people and teaching 1,116 individuals in ski and snowboard lessons.
