Odisha govt appoints ex-DGP of Jammu & Kashmir Rashmi Ranjan Swain as OUSSSC head

Odisha has appointed retired IPS officer Rashmi Ranjan Swain as the first chairman of the newly formed Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OUSSSC). This move follows a recruitment scam involving the Odisha police sub-inspector examinations, which led to the cancellation of the exams and a CBI investigation.
