Teen arrested over knife-point robbery in Ayia Napa

A 17-year-old was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of robbery after allegedly stealing a wallet, police said on Friday.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 8pm on Wednesday, when the teenager threatened a 20-year-old man sitting on a bench in Ayia Napa with a knife and robbed him of his wallet.

Subsequent investigations identified the 17-year-old as a suspect.

Police said investigations into the case are ongoing.
