Sasikala announces name of her political party, says will face coming polls in alliance

V K Sasikala, a former AIADMK leader, has launched her new political party. The organisation is named All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam. Its symbol is a coconut grove, representing unity. Sasikala stated the party will contest the upcoming Assembly election in an alliance.
