Leader of Opposition not above House rules: Speaker Birla

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has defended his running of the House. He stated that no member, including the Leader of Opposition, is above the rules. Birla emphasized that all members must seek permission from the chair to speak or quote documents. This comes after the Opposition's resolution to remove him was rejected.
