Michigan Abortion Businesses Drop 12% as Planned Parenthood Closes Four Centers

The number of abortion centers in Michigan fell 12% over a nearly two-year period ending in December 2025, according to a new report from the Guttmacher Institute. That comes as Planned Parenthood of Michigan closed four centers amid financial pressures.

The decline in brick-and-mortar facilities killing babies in abortions occurred from March 2024 to December 2025.

In April 2025, Planned Parenthood of Michigan announced it would permanently close three health centers in Jackson, Petoskey, and Marquette by the end of April.
