Polis mayor welcomes progress on new hospital

Polis Chrysochous mayor Yiotis Papachristofi has welcomed progress in procedures for the construction of the new town hospital, saying that the project, which he described as vital for the broader area, should be ready by the end of 2028.

Papachristofi said the process was moving ahead according to schedule and thanked President Nikos Christodoulides for supporting and promoting the project.

“The goal is to lay the foundation stone in January 2027 and complete the project by the end of 2028,” he said.
