Pezeshkian Says Accepting Iran’s Rights Key to Ending War

Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, has said the only way to end the war that began with attacks by Israel and the United States is to recognize Iran’s legitimate rights.

Pezeshkian wrote on Wednesday, March 11, on X that ending the conflict also requires compensation for Iran and a strong international guarantee to prevent future attacks.

He added that in phone conversations with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan, he emphasized the Islamic Republic’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
