FSSAI directs independent milk producers, vendors to obtain mandatory registration

To combat the rising threat of milk adulteration, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has implemented a new regulation requiring that all milk producers outside of dairy cooperatives and vendors obtain proper registration or licensing. Enforcement agencies will be vigilant, rigorously verifying documentation and inspecting chillers.
