Person trapped in car after accident released by firefighters

The fire brigade released an individual trapped in a car on Wednesday, following an accident on the Ayia Napa motorway to Larnaca, near the Ayia Thekla exit.

The accident was reported at 4.28pm.

Both the person trapped and a second individual who was injured in the accident were taken by ambulance to Famagusta general hospital.
