Anthropic launches 'Anthropic Institute', expands public policy team

Anthropic launched the Anthropic Institute to study AI’s societal impact, led by cofounder Jack Clark. The institute will research economic, social, security and governance challenges, including job displacement and cybersecurity risks. It aims to share insights, partner with external groups, and expand public policy work as Anthropic develops powerful AI systems.
