ADHD association urges Gesy to include occupational therapy
The Cyprus ADHD Support Association called on authorities on Wednesday to integrate private occupational therapy into the general health system (Gesy), saying the service is a basic therapeutic need for many children with ADHD.
The association said occupational therapy helps children regulate sensory stimuli, develop executive functions and strengthen daily life skills, supporting school integration and overall development.
