Over 30 Cyprus flights cancelled as Middle East war rolls on
A total of 36 commercial flights in and out of Cyprus were cancelled on Wednesday, with the war in the Middle East continuing to disrupt regional airspace.
All but four of those cancellations concerned flights in and out of the island’s primary airport, Larnaca, and mostly concern flights to and from the Middle East.
Multiple flights connecting Larnaca with Israeli cities Tel Aviv and Haifa, as well as services to Doha and Beirut were cancelled, though Middle East Airlines’ services to and from Beirut remain operational.
