‘We appreciate the team’s perspective’: NBA makes decision about strip-club promotion
The National Basketball Association has intervened to cancel the Atlanta Hawks’ planned “Magic City Monday” game promotion of a local strip club.
Set for March 16, the event was to be an effort to celebrate local nude dancing venue Magic City with wings, musical performances and podcasts, the Blaze reported.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced on Monday the league was canceling the event.
