Porsche's New Cayenne Electric Gets The Sporty S Treatment

There's something to be said for getting just enough fast car. The Cayenne Electric lineup expands to offer what may be just enough fast SUV. The new Cayenne S Electric model fits in between the base model and the high-power, even-higher-dollar Turbo. Like the Turbo, the new S model bears dual motors and all-wheel drive. However, power output is walked back somewhat, to a more "tame" 536 horsepower. That's outside of Launch Control mode, which unlocks more power for short bursts. Peak output is actually 657 horsepower.
