UNICEF says it treated 610,000 severely malnourished children in Afghanistan last year as millions remain at risk amid worsening food insecurity.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says it treated 610,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition in Afghanistan during the past year.
