A&E staff member assaulted, Pasydy calls for justice

A staff member in the accident and emergency department at Limassol General Hospital was attacked on Sunday morning, the union Pasydy said on Monday, condemning the incident and calling for those responsible to be brought to justice.

Pasydy expressed its solidarity with the assaulted employee as well as with the entire A&E department.

“Unfortunately, we are once again witnessing unacceptable incidents of violence against health professionals, who are assaulted while on duty,” the union said.
