Pentagon says seventh US service member dies in Iran war

A seventh American service member has died in the ongoing war involving Iran and the United States, the U.S. Central Command said, more than a week after the conflict began.

The Pentagon said the soldier died from injuries sustained during Iran’s counter-attack on March 1 targeting US troops stationed in Saudi Arabia following earlier strikes against Iran.
