The NFL Issued One Major Change to Free Agency This Year

Monday marks a pivotal day on the NFL calendar, with the "legal tampering" period opening at noon ET. Implemented in 2012, the legal tampering period typically provides teams the opportunity to begin negotiating with the agents of unrestricted free agent players.

Starting tomorrow though, things will be a little different. The NFL is now allowing organizations the chance to speak with the players themselves.
