Government eases approval for minor bilateral MoUs and agreements, MEA clearance suffices

New rules simplify approvals for international pacts. Agreements without financial or security risks now only need Ministry of External Affairs clearance. This change aims to cut red tape and speed up procedures. Such pacts signed during high-level visits will be exempt from prior Cabinet nod. The Ministry of External Affairs will report these to the Cabinet every six months.
