Pedestrian killed on M6 after being hit ‘by several vehicles’

A pedestrian has been killed on the M6 near Warrington after being struck by several vehicles.

Traffic has been stopped on the M6 in two locations for hours after the fatal crash between junctions J21 and J21A near Warrington, Cheshire.

The emergency services were alerted shortly before 3am this morning after reports of a serious crash.
