After Greece, Turkey deploys fighter jets to Cyprus

Turkey is expected to deploy four F-16 fighter jets to Cyprus on Sunday, the Cyprus Mail has been informed.

According to competent sources, the aircraft will be deployed to the north’s Ercan (Tymbou) airport amid rising tensions in the Middle East, and after Cyprus itself was hit by an Iranian-made drone last Monday. Reports of the fighter jets’ arrival were also printed in Yeniduzen newspaper.
