Winter Storm Warnings Announced for 10 States as 12 Inches of Snow, 55 mph Winds Surface

It's technically March, but it sure doesn't feel like it throughout much of the United States, because on Friday, March 6, the National Weather Service (NWS) continued to announce warnings for severe weather in areas of the country.

Just as part of the country is getting over the blizzard of 2026, more snow is popping up heading into the weekend. While it won't be as heavy as the record-breaking snow in the blizzard, it's still shaping up to be a sizable storm.
