Update: Wind advisory in place for Los Angeles County until Saturday afternoon — winds gusting up to 45 mph

Los Angeles County is under an updated wind advisory which was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 2:03 a.m. The advisory is in effect until Saturday March 7, at 3 p.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA adds to be ready for, “Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
