Kabul claims 30 Pakistani soldiers killed in border clashes
Kabul authorities said Taliban forces killed 30 Pakistani soldiers during clashes along the disputed Durand Line border, according to a defence ministry spokesman.
Enayatullah Khwarazmi, spokesman for the Taliban defence ministry, said the clashes occurred in Shorabak district of Kandahar province, where Taliban fighters allegedly captured a Pakistani military outpost.
He said the outpost was later destroyed with explosives after Taliban forces seized control of the position during the fighting.
