iPic Theaters closing its sites in Westwood, Pasadena

The luxury dine-in movie theater chain iPic will shut down both of its Los Angeles County locations next month after filing for bankruptcy, with 193 employees losing their jobs in the process.

According to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification notices sent to the state, the company will permanently cease all operations at both the Westwood site, at 10840 Wilshire Blvd., and at the Old Town Pasadena location, at 42 Miller Alley, on April 28.
