Taranjit Singh Sandhu, an experienced diplomat who has had vast experience, has been appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, replacing VK Saxena. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, India's ex-ambassador to the US, studied history from St Stephens' College in Delhi and holds an MA in international relations from Jawaharlal Nehru.
