U.S. adds Valkyries free agent Monique Billings for FIBA World Cup qualifier in Puerto Rico

Monique Billings, who helped the Golden State Valkyries become the first WNBA team to make the playoffs in its inaugural season,  was added Thursday to the U.S. women’s basketball roster for the FIBA World Cup qualifier next week in Puerto Rico.
