Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta resigned on Thursday. Sources confirm the development. Earlier today, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose also submitted his resignation to President Droupadi Murmu. The Officer on Special Duty to the Governor confirmed this. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed shock at Governor Bose's sudden departure. She stated she was not consulted on the successor.
